Hello and congratulations for your good efforts on this very interesting project.

Do you know whether it is possible to use the ESP8266 board instead of the ESP32 board for the wireless sensors and relays?

Hi and welcome to the forum!

I think that a user of the Spanish forum has tried to install the sketches on ESP8266, and it worked well.

I did not test it personally (because I don’t have an ESP8266 yet, I will have to buy a couple of them).

If you manage to install the sketch in a ESP8266, you can query the esp by invoking the url on a browser (http://ipofyouresp8266), and if you receive a Json object with information regarding the temperature and so on, then it will work with the project 😉

I’m sorry that I don’t can help you any further.

    Regards

PS: If it works, please let us know 🙂
